Hot Pink French Nails
This year for Valentine’s Day I decided to follow suit from last year’s pretty pink manicure and forgo the hearts for something a little more “subtle” and suitable for all year round not just February!
I know what you’re thinking these hot pink French nails are anything but subtle (that’s why I used quotations), but for me they kinda are and I love how they’re festive, but don’t immediately scream Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day. And I’ve been wanting to do a colorful French tip for a while and thought this was the perfect opportunity.
We started with a jelly polish base (similar to the hot pink I used in this Jelly Neon manicure from over the Summer) and topped it with a more fuchsia, magenta glitter polish for the French tip! I’m completely in love with both of these pink polishes on their own, but combined into these hot pink French nails I’m even more obsessed!
The only problem with these nails is that they are so bright and amazing that I had SO much trouble photographing & videoing them, but I guess that’s kind of a cool problem to have! The hot pink jelly polish is so neon that my camera intensifies the color so much that what appears on the screen is totally different than in person. And the magenta glitter polish on the tips is so glittery that the camera can’t quite capture the sparkle.
So you’re just going to have to trust me that these pink on pink Valentine’s nails are the coolest and you should probably copy them!
